I’d like to introduce you to something special: my custom WordPress Raffle Plugin. This plugin was specifically developed for a client who needed a simple yet powerful raffle system for their website. Here are some of the key features that enhance its usability and functionality:

• User Entry and Raffle Code Generation: Visitors can enter the raffle by submitting their email address through a simple form. Upon submission, the plugin auto-generates a unique 6-character alphanumeric raffle code, which is then emailed to the user for their records.
• Email Validation: To ensure the integrity of the raffle, the plugin checks if an email has already been used, preventing duplicate entries.
• Data Management and Export: All entries, including email addresses and raffle codes, are stored securely in the WordPress database. Administrators can easily export this data in CSV format for further analysis.
• Admin Panel and Settings: An intuitive admin panel provides easy access to all entries. It also features a random winner selection tool and settings to control the raffle’s status and display options for shortcodes like the winning code or GDPR compliance form.
• GDPR Compliance: A GDPR compliance form allows users to request the deletion of their data from the raffle entries, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Custom Shortcodes: Use shortcodes like [raffle_form] to display the entry form, [display_winner] to showcase the winning code (when available), and [raffle_gdpr] for GDPR-related data deletion requests.
• Styling and Customization: The plugin includes custom CSS for consistent styling, with easily adjustable button colors and text alignment options to fit your site’s design.
