I’m working on a simple yet powerful WordPress plugin just for WpScriptly members! This plugin will let you display a user’s Gravatar alongside their nickname using a shortcode — perfect for headers, sidebars, or footers. If the user is logged in, it shows their Gravatar and nickname inline. If not, it shows a default guest icon with the word “Guest.” It’s lightweight, flexible, and adds a personalized touch to your site.

I'm thinking about building a lightweight plugin that shows a user's Gravatar + Nickname (or a default guest icon + 'Guest') using a simple shortcode. It would be perfect for adding a personal touch anywhere on your site — headers, footers, sidebars, etc.

If the user is logged in, it shows their nickname and Gravatar.
If not, it shows a guest icon and the word 'Guest', all inline.
